Xpectations!® Prepaid Mastercard®

The Xpectations!® Prepaid Mastercard® and the Xpectations!® Prepaid Visa® programs issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. are being discontinued. All Card accounts will close on 12/22/2025 or on your Card(s) expiration date, whichever comes first. This means all services in connection with your Card(s) will be disconnected and the Card(s) will no longer be usable.

  • Effective 11/22/2025, you will not be able to reload your Card. This means all cash loads, mobile deposits and direct deposits of your pay or government benefits payments will not be accepted. If you have arranged for direct deposits to your Card account, you must make arrangements with the payor(s) immediately to stop these funds from posting to your account. Any loads received on or after 11/22/2025 will be rejected and returned to the payor.
  • Also, effective 11/22/2025, if you have arranged for any recurring bill payments to be made from your Card account, you must contact the merchant or payee as soon as possible to provide another means of payment, as any payments attempted on or after 11/22/2025 will be returned and the bill will not be paid.
  • Effective 12/22/2025, you will no longer be able to use your Card(s) to remove funds. We recommend you spend the money on your Card account to bring the balance to zero or visit any PLS store to unload your Card before 12/22/2025.

If there is an available balance greater than $1.00 remaining in the Card account after the Card closure date, a refund check will be mailed to you at the address on file within thirty (30) days of the date that your Card(s) are closed.

If you have any questions or concerns, customer service will be available to assist you at 866‑679‑4869 until 4/22/26.

Effective July 19, 2025, the Visa ReadyLink network will be discontinued for all Xpectations! Visa Prepaid Cards. Reloads can be completed at any PLS store.
